FAQ — PVDF Outdoor WPC Board
Is this already a certified outdoor WPC board?
No. It is a configurable system for outdoor evaluation. Certification, warranty and performance claims require the approved construction and applicable test evidence.
Why use a PVDF film on WPC board?
PVDF is selected as the weather-facing surface family for outdoor UV and weathering resistance. The film alone does not qualify the finished cabinet; bonding, edges, cut-outs and installation must also be evaluated.
What dimensions and densities were discussed for the project?
The reference configuration is 18 x 1220 x 2440 mm. The sample plan compared 0.60 and 0.80 g/cm³ boards; final density depends on screw holding, stability, weight and test results.
Why test the complete finished system?
Outdoor failure can occur at the film bond, edge, screw fixing or cut-out even when one material performs well. Test the PVDF film, PUR adhesive, WPC board and edge treatment together.
